So you are wondering what I am all about and how I serve my couples.  I get it, you want to make sure the vendors you are referring will care as much about the couple as you do. In ensuring that not only the wedding day will be professional but a client experience to match. 

I'm so excited that you are here to learn more about the client experience that I provide all of my wedding couples. From start to finish to even after the wedding date I am in communication with both you and the couple . As you scroll through you will see every intentional step I take to ensure a flawless client experience from start to finish. An experience that I can assure you not all photographers are doing but should be! 

I am armed with a BFA from the world-renowned Art Center College of Design. So I have both the artistic and technical training to handle any type of lighting situation. Top of the line Canon camera and lenses are used with a second backup system just in case. 

The Process

FROM START TO FINISH

It's important for me to educate the couples I work with. To provide as much insight and inspiration so that they can make the best decisions regarding their wedding day. 
Working closely with the coordinators so that the day-of timeline has plenty of pockets of time. For if we run behind, not a problem! We've accounted for that. We are on time or early, that's the way we secretly like it, am I right?

1. Couple inquires and I provide a pricing and information PDF
2. Schedule a meeting (via phone, video chat, or in-person) to answer questions
3. Send a proposal and questionnaire for the client to fill out
4. Setting up a payment schedule with final payment due after the wedding
5. Mail out postcard saying how excited I am to work with them
6. Send out an e-mail to get ideas flowing regarding the engagement session
7. Mail out an 80-page wedding magazine guide

10.  3-months out check-in e-mail with couple

I like to introduce myself. The old fashioned way! 

I think it is important to show up in a person's life in more ways than just online. That is why I send out a personal letter introducing myself and ensuring that they made the right decision by hiring me.

We need those Instagram-worthy engagement photos right?

I have a 30-page guide to ensure that my couples know the deal. 
To get dressed up, be ready with outfit #2, and to treat themselves to getting their nails, hair, makeup, and hair done. 

As part of the client experience, it is important for me to make sure that our couples are fully educated on all things wedding. This allows us to reaffirm the advice and knowledge we are providing them from more than one vendor. Making the advice and information more of a priority for the couple. I have created an 80 page custom wedding magazine guide that goes into all the details!

How do I ensure that the couple is getting a
client experience like no other? 

By one of my favorite all-time surprises...snail mail! 
Not just any snail mail but a gift box encouraging them to never stop dating and to have a date night at home.

Oh yeah...there is more!

As if the date night in box wasn't enough. A second box will be delivered 4-weeks before their wedding day. Reminding them to take a deep breath. take a moment, and have a spa day at home on me!

Remember that educating my couples bit? 

I send out a worksheet for all of my couples to complete before the wedding day. So when it comes to formal portrait time. No surprises, no "we need more time", or having to tell the couple to get ready for the grand entrance before they have had time to catch their breath!

Vendor Perks

Collaborating and working together is a form of friendship that I hold dear. Let's be honest, the majority of my bookings come from referrals from vendors like you. 

I am happy to provide some vendor perks to pass along to not only you and your team, but to your clients as well. Referrals are the main source of bookings, so as a way to show appreciation I am happy to offer the following perks: 

1. Building a custom package if needed for your clients upon request. 

2. Pricing a custom package to stay at your clients budget upon request and approval of you.

3. For destination clients an engagement session is not always possible. We can provide alternative options upon request. 

4. We do offer referral incentives as a way to say thank you. If you are willing to share your mailing address, we would love to send you some snail mail! 

What is your turnaround time for photo delivery?

A 6-8 week turnaround time is when you can expect to see a full online photo gallery from a wedding. Between you and me, shhh...I normally deliver within 4 weeks.

FAQ

How do you take payments?

A $500  retainer is due upon signing of the contract. From there I set up a payment schedule leading up to the wedding date. The final payment I make due after the wedding date so the couple knows that I arrived, did my job, and sneak peek photos are on the way.

Do you participate in styled shoots and editorials?

Yes I do! I love when I get to collaborate with other wedding vendors and dream up something we have been dying to see in the wedding industry.  Let's no copy the trend, let's create the trend!
